Your local application route
Your Beijing residence history determines the application route. We assess your connection to the relevant district Exit-Entry office and confirm whether a representative can file your case. The applicant-only online service does not accept proxy applications.
How we help with your Beijing PCC
Start with your Beijing dates and the document you have been asked to provide. We assess the local requirements and coordinate the agreed application through an accepted representative route.
- Tell us when and where you lived in Beijing, your permit history, the receiving organization and your deadline. No identity files are needed for this first inquiry.
- We assess the residence criteria and responsible district, check representative acceptance and explain the proposed materials, authorization, scope and fee.
- Once you accept the scope and complete the required authorization, we coordinate local filing, any supplementary evidence and collection through the accepted route.
- We review the result’s identity details and coverage dates, then coordinate the notarial, translation, authentication and delivery stages included in your quote.
Who may be eligible
- The current Chinese counter rules and a district service listing refer to cumulative residence in China of at least 180 days.
- The 2026 online FAQ instead describes cumulative Beijing residence of at least 180 days. Confirm the appropriate channel if your China-wide history differs from your Beijing history.
A tourist visa, residence permit and temporary accommodation registration are different records. If your stay included several statuses or cities, explain the timeline before relying on a single certificate.
Documents to prepare
- Online route: valid passport biographical page and the passport biographical pages covering the requested period, plus the signed inquiry form.
- Counter route: the foreign-applicant inquiry form and applicable passport / permanent-residence identity records. The foreigner form requires the period being checked.
- Representative: authorization and the representative’s original identity document. Overseas signing and authentication requirements need a separate local check.
Applying from outside China
For an applicant outside China, we check the accepting district, the representative route and the required overseas authorization before asking you to sign or courier anything. An online service for applicants themselves should not be used as an agency filing channel.
Notarization, translation & Apostille
After the police stage, confirm whether the recipient requires a notarial document, certified translation or additional authentication. Those are separate from logging in to the police inquiry service.
Questions before you apply
Can an agent use the online portal for me?
The applicant-only online service does not accept proxy applications. We assess the accepted representative counter route separately and explain whether we can handle your case before accepting the work.
Is every China PCC valid for three months?
Beijing’s published certificate template carries a three-month note. Check the actual issued certificate and the receiving authority’s freshness requirements; do not turn one city’s template into a universal rule for all China documents.
Before you sign or courier anything
- Which counter handles your former Beijing residence, and which duration rule applies to the selected channel?
- What overseas signing, notarization or authentication must the authorization meet?
- Which period, passport details and acceptance date does your recipient require?
Send the receiving authority’s document instructions with personal identifiers removed. We use them to agree the required dates, language, number of copies and delivery format before commissioning work.
