Your local application route

A Guangzhou foreign-applicant PCC involves preparation and an accepted counter filing. We assess your residence history and the responsible Exit-Entry office, then coordinate any required appointment, forms and representative arrangements for the agreed case.

How we help with your Guangzhou PCC

We turn the Guangzhou police and notarial requirements into a case-specific plan. Start with your residence dates and intended use so we can check the right local route before you commit.

  1. Tell us your Guangzhou dates, other Chinese cities, passport changes and the receiving organization’s document request.
  2. We assess residence eligibility and the responsible office, check the materials and authorization for the proposed representative, and confirm the scope and fee.
  3. After you approve the scope and provide the required authorization and evidence, we coordinate appointment and form preparation, counter filing and any supplementary requests.
  4. We review the police result and coordinate the agreed notarial, translation, authentication and collection stages, with international delivery quoted separately.

Who may be eligible

  • The police guide refers to residence-permit or permanent-resident applicants with cumulative China residence of at least 180 days after first entry. It identifies permit issuance and an actual residence of at least 180 days as possible jurisdiction links.
  • The separate 2025 notarial guide describes a foreign-applicant category with six months in Guangdong. Police-query eligibility and a chosen notary’s acceptance are different checks.

A tourist visa, residence permit and temporary accommodation registration are different records. If your stay included several statuses or cities, explain the timeline before relying on a single certificate.

Documents to prepare

  • Valid identity records, relevant historical passport copies, temporary accommodation registration copies and the foreigner inquiry form.
  • The English police guide expressly asks for the current identity original and copy. Confirm how the office handles originals for an applicant abroad.
  • Delegated police filing: authorization, Chinese translation where needed and the applicable identity documents. The two language versions differ in the identity wording, so confirm both applicant and representative records.
  • Delegated notarization: the Justice guide distinguishes a close-relative authorization with relationship proof from a non-relative’s notarized authorization.

Applying from outside China

We check the accepting office’s overseas authorization, translation and original-document requirements before you prepare the package. A non-relative agent’s notarial authorization may differ from a close relative’s route, so the police and notarial stages are assessed separately.

Notarization, translation & Apostille

After the police result, confirm the notarial statement, language and destination. The judicial guide lists a joint window, but a former foreign resident’s eligibility for that particular counter should be checked. A non-relative notarial representative needs the authorization form accepted for that category.

Questions before you apply

Does an online appointment mean I can get the PCC entirely online?

An appointment or online form is a preparation step; it does not by itself make the foreigner PCC application entirely online. We check the accepted local filing route and explain which steps we can coordinate for you.

Can one application cover several passports or cities?

The police form asks for the exact period and corresponding identity records. Provide your full timeline so the accepting office can confirm what it can certify; one convenient filing location does not automatically settle every period requested.

Before you sign or courier anything

  • Which permitted jurisdiction and counter will accept this former resident’s records?
  • Which applicant and representative originals are required under the actual overseas route?
  • What notarial authorization and destination format will the chosen office accept?

Send the receiving authority’s document instructions with personal identifiers removed. We use them to agree the required dates, language, number of copies and delivery format before commissioning work.
