Suzhou’s government service listing for criminal-record notarization asks for identity records, police proof and, when represented, authorization and the representative’s ID. It describes paper and electronic material formats; it does not independently confirm an online foreigner PCC route.

Who may be eligible

• Use the national foreign-resident inquiry baseline together with actual Suzhou permits and accommodation registrations. No current foreign-specific Suzhou police duration rule was verified here.
• The notarial service’s availability does not establish eligibility for every historical foreign stay or a wholly online police application.

A tourist visa, residence permit and temporary accommodation registration are different records. If your stay included several statuses or cities, explain the timeline before relying on a single certificate.

Documents to prepare

• Current and historical foreign identity records linked to the Suzhou stay.
• Relevant residence permits, accommodation registrations and the police-issued criminal-record result.
• Locally accepted authorization and the representative’s ID. Ask whether the chosen police / notary route needs a referral letter before the result can be obtained.

Applying from outside China

The government listing includes notarial delegation and refers to facial identity recognition. Confirm whether a foreign passport and an overseas applicant can use that verification method, or need an accepted alternative. Do not assume the police stage can be completed with scans.

Notarization, translation & Apostille

Ask the chosen Suzhou notary whether it initiates a police inquiry or expects a police result first. Also confirm the format of originals, translations and any identity verification before signing an overseas authorization.
