Your local application route
A Tianjin case can involve a foreign-related notary and the responsible Exit-Entry police office. The local notarial checklist describes requesting verification through the notary for overseas applicants. We check how that office exchanges the inquiry and police result before arranging your application.
Who may be eligible
- The national foreign-applicant route covers at least 180 days of residence in mainland China. Tianjin notarial guidance separately refers to evidence of more than half a year in China and the last place of residence.
- We check your Tianjin address, permit history and requested coverage dates. Time spent in another city and missing accommodation records need assessment rather than an automatic assumption of acceptance.
A tourist visa, residence permit and temporary accommodation registration are different records. If your stay included several statuses or cities, explain the timeline before relying on a single certificate.
Documents to prepare
- A valid passport and relevant older passports or pages connecting your identity to the Tianjin stay.
- Evidence of the qualifying China residence period, including available permits and Tianjin accommodation registrations.
- Entry/exit evidence: the local checklist asks for it for departed or overseas applicants unless the passport or travel document already shows the relevant information.
- For representation, an accepted power of attorney and the representative’s identity document. Police proof or the notary’s verification result is needed for the notarial stage.
Applying from outside China
The Tianjin notarial checklist includes delegated applications, but this does not establish a scan-only overseas police service. We confirm original verification, how you sign the authorization, any overseas notarization or authentication, and collection arrangements before you sign or courier anything. Chinese hukou requirements on mixed applicant checklists should not be applied automatically to a foreign passport holder.
Notarization, translation & Apostille
We agree the notarial statement, translation language and copies against the receiving organization’s instructions. The local checklist notes additional translation-conformity notarization for some destinations; it is not a universal extra for every case. Apostille or consular legalisation is assessed separately against the destination and document requirements.
How we help with your application
- Tell us your Tianjin address or district, residence dates, permit type and the document requested.
- We confirm the accepting notary, police routing, authorization and originals, then provide a written scope and quote.
- After you approve, we coordinate the accepted local verification and filing sequence, any supplementary evidence, and the notarial work agreed for your case.
- We check the issued names and dates and arrange the agreed translation, authentication and delivery. International postage is quoted separately.
Questions before you apply
Have you helped clients with Tianjin documents?
Yes. Our team has handled Tianjin cases. We still confirm the current route for your residence history and document request before accepting the work.
How long does a Tianjin PCC take?
Published notarial estimates differ between offices. Police verification, overseas authorization, supplementary evidence, authentication and delivery are separate stages. We estimate the complete sequence after assessing your case.
Can I start without sending my passport?
Yes. Start with your city, approximate dates and requested document. We identify the specific records and any identity check needed later, explain who receives them and agree the transmission channel.
Before you sign or courier anything
- Does the chosen notary initiate verification, or require a referral and a separate police submission?
- Which applicant originals, authorization formalities and identity checks are accepted while you are abroad?
- What period can the result cover, and what translation, authentication and delivery does the recipient require?
Send the receiving authority’s document instructions with personal identifiers removed. We use them to agree the required dates, language, number of copies and delivery format before commissioning work.
